Qatari Prime Minister: Netanyahu Is a War Criminal

Al-Taj News – Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani described Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a war criminal, affirming that the State of Qatar will continue to uphold diplomacy and play a mediating role for peace despite the complex situation in the region. He made the remarks in an interview with British media personality Piers Morgan, published on Tuesday.

The Qatari prime minister explained that what is being committed in the Gaza Strip constitutes war crimes for which Netanyahu is responsible, noting that the latter is seeking, by attacking Qatar, to manipulate public opinion, mislead it with false facts, and shift the blame onto others instead of looking at the conduct of his government.

He reiterated Qatar’s condemnation of the attack carried out by Israel that targeted Doha last year while efforts were being made to advance Trump’s proposal, considering the targeting of mediators a dangerous precedent that has never occurred in wars throughout history, and saying that Netanyahu had thereby crossed the red line.
